Chania Coastal Excursion: Let the Captain Choose Your Path

Approximately 15 minutes on an average cruising speed of 22-24 knots.
(We prefer to cruise slowly to enjoy the view of the Chania landscape.)

The boat can approach very close to land, where you can observe the wild goats. We can anchor 20-30 meters away from the shore on a small bay. It is not allowed to walk on the island, as it is a nature reserve, but you can swim or snorkel.

Approximately 1 -1,5 hours. You can stay on the boat, relax, sunbathe, swim, and snorkel. In addition, you can observe the wild goats and snorkel at the sunken German plane from WWII.

Depending on how much time you have spent on Thodorou Island, your friendly guide will show you around the fantastic landscape of Chania on a slow boat ride that will last approximately 20 – 30 minutes till we reach Lazareta.
Your final stop will be Lazareta Island for swimming (30’- 45’).

Between June 15 and September 10th, bring your Beachwear, Towels, Sunscreen, and a Hat. If you book a trip earlier than June 15th, don’t forget to bring a wind jacket. The average (low-high) temperature in the Summer (June -August) in Crete is 20-33 degrees, usually without clouds.

For the months of April, May, June (1st half), September (second half), and October, the average temperature may vary between 18-28 degrees. Bring a long-sleeved shirt or a wind jacket in case of cloudy weather, rain, or a late return to the Port.

If the boat is available, you can ask your friendly skipper to extend your boat tour at an additional cost. The price varies depending on the boat type, the duration, and the extra miles.

All pets are allowed on board under your supervision.

1. In the chance of inconvenient weather conditions, there will be the following options:
   • SEAze The Day will postpone the date.
   • Change the departure and return point accordingly upon arrangement with the guest.
   • If none of the two options above are feasible for the client, SEAze The Day shall refund the deposit amount.
2. In the event of cancellation more than 10 days before the date of the boat trip, the guest shall receive the 50% of the deposit.
3. In the event of notifying us about the cancellation less than 10 days before the date of the boat trip, SEAze The Day shall keep the entire deposit.

We require a 20% deposit for a booking. The remaining balance is paid upon arrival at the Port before the boat departs.

All our boats have portable fire extinguishers, a first aid kit, flares, a floating anchor, a spare boat engine or two main engines, a depth sounder, and a geodetic tracking system (GPS tracker). In addition, our staff is highly trained in emergencies and follows specific safety protocols.

There are no health restrictions, but please notify us if you have children under the age of 4, if you have a pregnant person in your group, if you have any allergies, or if there is a person with disabilities.
