All Day Private Boat Trip to Balos Beach & Gramvousa Island from Chania

According to Greek port authority regulations , the boat can anchor 50-60 metres away from Balos beach . It is not allowed to go closer due to swimmers in the area . The water is shallow (1.5-2m) and you can easily swim to the beach. If you don’t want to get wet you can ask our friendly skipper to take you to the dock . From there you will have to walk to the beach.

Approximately 20 minutes. Don’t forget to wear proper shoes and also take some water with you.

You can stay approximately 1.5 hours. If you are not interested in climbing up to the fortress, you can stay on the boat, relax and sunbathe , or go to the beach and explore the island. Otherwise you can snorkel at the famous Gramvousa’s shipwreck.

Depending on how much time you have spent visiting Balos and Gramvousa by boat, your friendly guide will show you around the unique landscape of the Rodopou peninsula with its private beaches and caves. You can stop for 1h at Menies beach or have multiple stops at different beaches and explore the area. Finally, we will have a last visit to Thodorou Island to observe the wild goats (Kri -Kri) and a World War II plane wreck.

Between June 15 and September 10 bring your Beachwear, Towels, Sunscreen Hat,Hiking shoes (if you want to visit the fortress of Gramvousa). If you book a trip earlier than June 15th don’t forget to bring a wind-jacket. The average (low-high) temperature in the Summer (June -August) in Crete is 20-33 degrees and usually without clouds.
For the months April, May, June (1st half), September (second half), and October, the average temperature may vary between 18-28 degrees. Bring a long sleeved shirt or a wind -jacket in case of cloudy weather, rain or late return to the Port.

If the boat is available you can ask your friendly skipper to extend your boat tour at an additional cost.

All pets are allowed on board under your supervision.

In Case of Unfavorable Weather Conditions:

• Postponement: SEAze The Day will reschedule the trip to another date.
• Alternative Departure/Return Point: The departure and return location may be adjusted upon agreement with the guest.
• Refund: If neither of the above options is feasible for the client, SEAze The Day will refund the full deposit.

Cancellation Terms:

• More than one month before the trip: Full refund of the deposit.
• Between 7 days and one month before the trip: 50% refund of the deposit.
• Less than 7 days before the trip: The deposit is non-refundable.

Date Changes:

• Guests who wish to change their trip date may do so free of charge, provided there is availability.
• Requests must be made at least 7 days before departure to allow proper adjustments.
• If no alternative dates are available, the cancellation policy applies.

We require a 20% deposit for a booking . The remaining balance is paid upon arrival at the port before departing with the boat.

All our boats have portable fire extinguishers, first aid kit, flares, floating anchor, spare boat engine or two main engines, depth sounder and geodetic tracking system (gps tracker). Also, our staff is highly trained in emergency situations following a specific safety protocol.

There are no health restrictions but please notify us if you have children under the age of 4, if you have a pregnant person in your group, if you have any kind of allergies or a person with disabilities.
