We will start this half-day private boat trip from Kolymvari. Then, we will sail along Rodopou Peninsula (Spatha) and visit several secluded beaches and caves off the coast of North Crete. Next, we will anchor at Menies beach to swim in the beautiful deep blue water and Chironisia to snorkel in its caves and explore the rocky seabed. After that, we will visit some other secret small beaches only accessible by boat. Finally, we will safely take you back to Kolymbari Port while sightseeing the amazing coastline of the area.

The price of this 4 hours private boat tour to Menies from the Port of Chania starts from 750 euros with a 9-11m RIB (1-10 persons) and goes up to 950 euros per group (1-9 persons) with a luxury cabin boat.
The price depends on boat size, the number of people in your private group, and the selected extras.

If your group is larger than our maximum boat capacity we can arrange for a second boat to accommodate your group . The boats sail together and tie together so the group does not split . While we are docked you can go from one boat to the other . Ask us about the alternative options .
Approximately 20 minutes on an average cruising speed of 22-24 knots.
The boat can anchor 20-30 metres away from Menies beach. It is not allowed to go closer due to swimmers in the area and shallow water with rocky bottom. After we anchor the boat, you can easily swim to the beach or stay and relax on our vessel.
Approximately 1-1.5 hours. You can stay on the boat, relax and sunbathe , or go to the beach and explore the ruins of Diktynna Sanctuary. Otherwise you can go snorkelling.
Between June15 and September 10 bring your Beachwear, Towels, Sunscreen Hat,Hiking shoes (if you want to explore the landscape). If you book a trip earlier than June 15th don’t forget to bring a wind-jacket. The average (low-high) temperature in the Summer (June -August) in Crete is 20-33 degrees and usually without clouds.
For the months April, May, June (1st half), September (second half), and October, the average temperature may vary between 18-28 degrees. Bring a long sleeved shirt or a wind -jacket in case of cloudy weather, rain or late return to the Port.
If the boat is available you can ask your friendly skipper to extend your boat tour at an additional cost.
All pets are allowed on board under your supervision.
We require a 20% deposit for a booking . The remaining balance is paid upon arrival at the port before departing with the boat.

All our boats have portable fire extinguishers, first aid kit, flares, floating anchor, spare boat engine or two main engines, depth sounder and geodetic tracking system (gps tracker). Also, our staff is highly trained in emergency situations following a specific safety protocol.
There are no health restrictions but please notify us if you have children under the age of 4, if you have a pregnant person in your group, if you have any kind of allergies or a person with disabilities.
